Most of the K-4th grade students have heard 6 of the 10 Red Clover award nominees. It is always fun to hear the opinions and predictions of our avid book reviewers as we critique these great books!
Currently, the students are enjoying, Blizzard, by John Rocco, which is a childhood story of surviving the blizzard of 1978 when he was 10 years old. Students relate to the excitement caused by a big snowstorm and the adventure of exploration as he attempts to get to the grocery to get food for his family and neighbors!
